Challenge
On an assembly line for gear housings, different gear components needed to be loaded and unloaded from pallet carriers and assembly stations.
Solution
A double gripper for different workpieces was used as the solution. The Zimmer Group GP400 standard parallel gripper with workpiece-specific contour jaws was used.
